[LAUNCH] EverSpace: A rouge Like game launched

New space shooter adventure game Everspace releases into early access today, on both Steam and GOG. It's a game about exploring a procedurally generated universe in a little spaceship, a ship you'll upgrade and improve, before you inevitably die in an explosion.

Everspace promises a non-linear story, and the ability to keep credits and blueprints between runs, so this will differ from some other roguelites in ways beyond the shiny 3D art and nifty visual effects. It's unclear what's included in the current build, exactly, but over the next few months Rockfish plans to add VR support, two additional player ships, a Hardcore mode with proper permadeath, and more.

Here is the trailer :

[LAUNCH] Playstation experiance on PC

It's no secret that our gaming platform of choice is the PC, but we get it: there are some fun games on the consoles, too. Guess What..... Now they're all playable on your PC, too.

After Xbox One owners have been able to do this for several months now, Sony doesn't want to stay behind in the console battle now. They introduced Remote Play included in Sony's 3.50 firmware for the PS4, which has begun rolling out.

They are some easy-peasy requirements that every gaming PC can fulfill. Here it goes:

Requirements for a Windows PC:

  • Intel Core i5-560M Processor 2.67 GHz or faster
  • 100MB or more of available storage

  • 1024x768 or higher display resolution
  • Sound card
  • USB port

Sony also not disappoints Mac Users. Remote Play also streams on Macs. Here is what you rquire.

Requirements for Macs:

  • OS X Yosemite(10.10) or OS X El Capitan(10.11)
  • Intel Core i5-520M Processor 2.40 GHz or faster
  • 40MB or more of available storage
  • 2GB or more of RAM
  • USB port

Grab your remote play application is available here.

If you don't change any of the settings, streaming will push 540p at 30 frames per second, though you can change these settings to 360p, 720p, and 60 frames per second, depending on what kind of Internet bandwidth you're working with. There's no 1080p support yet, unfortunately.

[Released] Dynasty Warrior: Berserk West Launch Date

When we first learned the next Dynasty Warriors spin-off will be based on the long-running dark fantasy manga series Berserk at E3 last month, West described the decision as a “no brainer”. I’d struggle to argue with that, and while a Japanese launch was initially confirmed this side of the year, it seemed a western port would likely slip into 2017 at the time. The publisher’s western arm has now formally confirmed it’ll head west in autumn 2016, and celebrated with the launch of a new English language website.

In any event, the most important things you need to know for now is that Berserk paints a sombre tale that revolves around a mercenary named Guts , who’s backed up by Griffith, both of whom carry big swords, and who really love killing things not least hordes of forest-dwelling monsters.

Here is the teaser:

[Review] I Am Setsuna

I am Setsuna is here and this is what it packs. There's a lovely symbolism to the fresh-fallen snow, as it turns out, as I Am Setsuna channels the glory days of the simpler Japanese RPGs of the early '90s, when roleplaying games in general weren't so pressured to cram their releases with convoluted features.  Regardless of the title, this is really Endir's tale, as he's the one escorting Setsuna to her doom after first being hired to kill her. I Am Setsuna's other characters boast personalities that let them flourish in meaningful contrast to the snowy wastes around them, but Endir, the leader, might as well be the ice beneath their boots.

Perhaps the lesson is that he's the right hero for a world as bleak and sad as this. Setsuna herself is a girl whose purity matches that of the surrounding snow, but she's willingly chosen to bow to local tradition and sacrifice herself at a faraway altar so the world can live in relative safety from monsters. As Endir, along with some other somber guards, you must escort her through the beasts and snowfields of the world so she may do her duty. There's not a one among her companions who isn't flawed and tragic and some way, but there are some standouts who thankfully remind us that our existence is one worth fighting for. I especially enjoyed the scenes with poor Nidr, a swordsman who battles both with the monsters in his past and those in abandoned villages, as well as the roguish spellcaster Aeterna, who looks after Setsuna as though she were family.

Eventually I came to appreciate the single track as a further embracing of the purity of that first image. It emphasizes that nothing is more important than Setsuna's grim duty. Much as in the sumi-e artwork that first image so richly evoked, the surrounding chalky void highlights the characters and their quest, lending an urgency and meaning that might have been robbed with detours to help troubled farmers.I get it. But given enough time, the appeal of even this gorgeous setting begins to melt away. Such intensity of focus is fine for a stationary artwork designed for static contemplation, but at the tail end of Setsuna's 23 or so hours I felt a weariness of setting I haven't felt since reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road. I realize now why I've never really tired of the scenes at The Wall in Game of Thrones, as Martin has the good sense to punctuate those scenes with the bickering greenery of the sunny south. It doesn't help that there's no world map, as getting lost brings the torment of finding your bearings among the same models of trees, the same buildings, and (but of course) the same snow.

But it's also true that I Am Setsuna starts to lose its way whenever it strays from the lessons the simplicity of the snow imparts. It embraces them in some unexpected ways, such as how gear stays limited to weapons and amulets, thus minimizing the time you spend in menus min-maxing. It extends to combat, which starts only when you actively engage an enemy you found bobbing around the dungeon maps, and which unfolds with the "Active Time Battle" system that maintains the action even when you're digging in menus for specific spells and potions.

The business of brawling is also more complicated than it was in the days of JRPGs past, as there's now a "momentum" system that rewards waiting for the action bar to fill up and executing perfectly timed button presses, sometimes resulting in a random "singularity" that grants your whole party, says, a boost to the number of points you're getting to build more momentum.

A beautiful JRPG that captures the spirit of the genre's early hits while playing things a tad too safely.

[TRAILER] Tokyo 42 : The Murder Simulator

Fortunately, the 12-minute alpha gameplay trailer released today goes a long way toward clarifying the situation, and it looks really good—and a lot more sophisticated than you might expect.

The Syndicate similarity is obvious, but also only skin-deep. Stealth can be a viable option (and is mandatory at times, although that might change) and your character is fast and acrobatic, much more akin to an Ezio Auditore than any juiced-up corporate killing drone. And the game world is obviously gorgeous; Tokyo 42 may be a murder simulator that lets you terrorize large crowds of people, but those bright colors and geometric layouts are pure, toy-like eye candy. Tokyo 42 is set to come out in early 2017.

[ARRIVAL] 7 Ways To DIE - PS4 on June 28

7 Days to Die has sold over 1.5 million copies on PC, which is mind-blowing to us. We’re so grateful to have had amazing support from the community from the very beginning, and now, we’re beyond excited to bring our game to a new audience on PlayStation 4.

So, what is 7 Days to Die? 7 Days to Die combines first-person shooting, survival horror, tower defense and role-playing elements in a mix of combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration and character growth to create what we hope you’ll think is a unique, addictive experience. It’s an open-world sandbox game to play alone, via splitscreen, or online, that gives you an enormous amount of freedom to choose how to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

You’re dropped into a harsh environment with almost nothing – not even clothes on your back. Through scavenging, crafting, and hunting, you’ll eventually put together the basic items you’ll need to live. You’ll have to deal with cold, heat, hunger and thirst, and there are wild animals that see you as prey. But that’s not the worst, because you’re not alone — the undead wander all around you. Slow and relatively easy to avoid by day, at night they become merciless, fast-moving killers, hungry for your flesh.

Here is a trailer that tells it all:

[CONFIRMED] Yomawari : Night Alone Arrives on 25 October

Yomawari: Night Alone will be arriving on PS Vita October 25, 2016.Moreover, we have a Limited Edition that comes complete with the original soundtrack and two art books packaged into a gorgeous collector’s box!Unlike some of our zanier titles, Yomawari: Night Alone allows you to revisit your childhood fears, especially the fear of the dark. For fans of survival horror, mystery and stealth action, this will be the perfect title to add to your collection.

Overview:

The story begins with a little girl who lives with her beloved dog and sister in a small town. A routine stroll at dusk leaves her devastated as she runs home, with only an empty leash in hand. As if losing her dog wasn’t already traumatizing enough, the little girl’s sister goes missing the same night. With only a flashlight and a backpack to store the different items and clues she finds around town about the mysterious disappearances, a dark and dangerous tale begins.

Yomawari: Night Alone features a unique blend of survival horror with stealth action gameplay. Along the way, you will find all sorts of objects from keys to slippers to cat biscuits, some of them vital to solving the mystery of the town and its eerie inhabitants at night, while others useful to distract evil spirits when they attack. As the story unfolds, more answers will lead to more questions, and the open-world environment of Yomawari: Night Alone allows for maximum freedom to wander anywhere at almost any time.

With every step around the corner or into a dark alleyway, you will not only need reflexes to outrun bloodthirsty monsters and spirits, but also wits as you outsmart the ones that strike faster than you can blink; letting down your guard for even one moment may spell instant death. Only the silence of

the night, the unsettling chirping of crickets, and your own lonely footsteps will accompany you as danger lurks around every corner, waiting to strike without warning.

[REVEAL] ABSOLVER Trailer- Elegant Melee Combat

Arriving at an unspecified time in 2017, Absolver will have you playing a Prospect—one of the enigmatic chaps with the masks, I'll wager. Naturally you have a sacred mission to join the ranks of an elite peacekeeping force known as the Absolvers. You'll journey the forbidding land, encountering other player-controlled Prospects "to learn your place in the world ". These skirmishes are described as "an intense real-time flow of attacks, dodges, feints and counters", all of which are customisable from your Combat Deck. There are light MMO elements too: you'll be able to group with fellow Prospects to tackle 'the dungeon mines of Adal' or enter PvP arenas that scatter the land.

Here is the trailer telling it all-

[CONFIRMED] Star Wars Battlefront 2 confirmed in 2017

With one of the most lucrative IP licenses under its belt, Electronic Arts understandably intends to pump out as many Star Wars games as it can. During an earnings call today, the publisher's chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen confirmed that EA intends to release a new Star Wars game every year from 2017 onwards – for at least the next three to four years.
Speaking more specifically, it looks like another Star Wars Battlefront game will release as soon as 2017. "Next year we’ll see Star Wars Battlefront back with bigger and better worlds, because we now have the new movies to work off  not just the historical movies that we used before," Jorgensen said.
Of course, there are other Star Wars games in the offing: Visceral's contributionto the canon will resemble the aborted Star Wars 1313 project – basically an Uncharted-esque cinematic third-person action game – and will be a collaboration with EA's Motive studio, which is helmed by former Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond. Jorgensen says that game will release "most likely the following year."

[CONFIRMED] Mass Effect: Andromeda releases 2017

BioWare General Manager Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda won't be out until early 2017. That release window actually came to light earlier this year by way of CFO Blake Jorgensen's address at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, but now it's official.
“We’re building the best of what we all love about Mass Effect—amazing stories, characters, and fun third-person shooter combat—and bringing them along with us on the expedition to Andromeda,” Flynn wrote. “But we’re also excited to be introducing new features and ways you can enjoy a Mass Effect game.” said Bioware General Manager.
Details on how exactly that will be accomplished are predictably thin—more freedom, new worlds, allies, and enemies, and of course the power of the Frostbite engine—but playtesting is “showing us that we’re taking the game in the right direction,” he continued. “But we also know we need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be—that’s our commitment from all of us to all of you. Because of that, Mass Effect: Andromeda will now ship in early 2017.”

[RELEASED]Fallout 4: Far Harbor trailer released

At last, the big one is almost upon us: Far Harbor, the full-size expansion for Fallout 4. Bumper size, even—Bethesda says that Far Harbor has the largest landmass of any Bethesda add-on ever. That makes it a welcome change from the light fluff of Automatron and the wholly skippable Wasteland Workshop. More content does mean more cash however, and if you don't own the season pass, Far Harbor will cost you £20. You'll ship out to an island off the coast of Maine, a region that's come out of the war far worse than the Commonwealth. Deathclaws are cute radioactive puppies compared to what's been mutating in Far Harbor. Add to that the ever-pesky Children of Atom, synths and unfriendly locals, and you've got yourself the worst possible summer holiday. Apart from caravanning. Far Harbor is out May 19.

Here is the awaited trailer:

[EXPANSION] The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine

Blood and Wine has an impressive stat sheet: 90 new quests, 20 new monsters, 100 pieces of armour, an upgradeable vineyard, new mutations. It feels like a proper extension of the main game, complete with a twisting core tale of royalty and monsters. The setup is simple: Duchess Anna Henrietta summons Geralt to Toussaint to solve a series of brutal murders, inducting him into an alien world of good wine and summer tourneys.

There's an entertaining friction between Geralt's personality and the Toussaint's lavish customs. It's a classic fish-out-of-water story told well. From Blood and Wine's opening moments, Geralt must wrestle with the florid language of the Duchess' protectors. Events conspire to force Geralt into a sunset festival at the Duchess' gorgeous castle. The guests scoff and laugh at his boorishness. Even the taverns of Toussaint are different. In one, the bartender is outraged when Geralt asks him for local gossip. On the way out, a man at a nearby table mutters to himself, “A well-composed pâté, I must admit!” We're not in Velen anymore, Toto. Blood and Wine is a fine showcase for a team at the peak of their abilities. Characterisation is swift and vivid, and the laid-back tone contrasts well with the grim intensity of Velen and the lonely, beautiful crags of Skellige. In less than an hour I'm enjoying the company of the honourable duo, Palmerin and Milton. The Duchess is a no-nonsense problem-solving machine. Knight Guillant constantly performs daring deeds to impress a lady at court, but is completely useless at it. It's a brilliant balance of comedy, high-fantasy fun and darkened by sudden moments of violence.

Here is a trailer of it:

[UPDATE] Fallout 4 with New Mods

This week, Fallout 4 gets a dynamic depth of field mod that changes depending on what you're looking at, plus a nifty configuration tool that lets you pop a holotape into your Pip-Boy and change the settings while in-game.

This mod provides a convincing dynamic depth of field that changes depending on what you're looking at. There's a documentary-length video to see how it works, and in an extremely clever touch you can edit the mod settings while in-game by inserting a holotape in your Pip-Boy and fiddling with the settings.
